Short story to be published in The Malahat Review

A new short story by Irena Karafilly, entitled “The Taste of Blood”, has been accepted for publication by The Malahat Review, to be published in Winter 2017/18. The story is set in postwar Croatia and deals with a child’s dawning awareness of betrayal and tragic loss.
